Impossible Landscapes (2024)

The album consist of two excerpts from two freely improvised duet sets. The essence of this album lies in the perceptual aesthetic of the ‘mentality of the multitude’, an alternative state of mind where ‘everything happening at once, in a state of constant flux.’ The ‘linearity’ of our common perception of the world is broken down through the juxtaposition and manipulation of recordings from different times and spaces and their interaction with the actors in the present moment of improvisation. Therefore, by blurring the common perception of the linearity of time and the mutual exclusiveness of space, this album encourages players and listeners to develop multiple ways of looking at and understanding the world.

Central Saint Martins BA Fine Art Open Gallery (2023)

Collaboration with UAL fine art student Angela Feng - pre-recorded and live improvisation group act (c.a. 20') using Logic and field recordings.

✍️ Through the pre-recorded and live improvisations, the improvisors became 'artworks'. These 'artworks' themselves have some unchanging aspects, but when they are presented in different times and spaces, different audiences as well as the "artworks" will have completely different experiences -- @f_angggxt gave this collaboration a keyword - a "collective memory" unique to every present moment.
